I've never done diving that deep before. Don't you worry about getting narked or some kind of equipment malfunction at depth without having redundant tanks and regs?
Not judging! Just curious as I don't have the deep experience.
Of course you worry. Having a buddy and confidence in your equipment and abilities to deal with problems at depth helps to ease worries. In all honesty I'm not one who enjoys going deep. However I wanted to do the Sophie wreck and this particular dive was to check if I could handle depth. I actually did get a bit narked at around 170ft., but again you know how to deal with it if youv'e been narked before. Don't panic and just ride it out
However I didi find that the most interesting stuff in Palu Weh was between 30m-45m.
