To all the friendly informative people out there, thank you for your advice and concern. Just so you know, I have one of the best PADI Instructors, my husband (SCUBAMAN40).Not to brag, but he is extremely patient and very knowledgeable as well as the best buddy in the world........and my best friend...... Thanks again everyone. SCUBA WIDOW

HI Scuba Widow,

It sounds like you really are all set on the instructor front. You have your teacher and your buddy all wrapped up into one.

Just have fun and take your time. It's kind of like riding a bicycle, once you learn, you never forget, you just need a little practice to get back into the swing of things.

Cheers,

Scuba Widow, I'm truely envious! What an awesome marriage.

I've dated plenty of girls whom dive, but still haven't found that special Mermaid. Hopefully someday I'll find my Lobster, the one that will mate for life and die out of the water too long... ;-0

Mario, You too will find that special someone. I have to give the credit to my hubby for getting me interested. Scubaman40 and I got certified together many moons ago. Did I mention to you we have 3 little guppies (little baby mermaids) ages 6,3 & 8 months...That's why I've been out of touch with diving.Plus I work full time. But, we keep scubaman40 equipped with the essentials and the toys. We bought him a scooter for xmas last year, tried it in the tub, talk about a laugh, we still laugh about it. Keep searching for that buried treasure, it's there.........

OMG Scuba Widow,
Not too long ago a bunch of us were laughing about donning scuba gear and diving in kiddy pools and stock tanks to keep the 'ol gills wet, but the scooter definitely takes the cake! I guess I'm going to have to put on a Dry suit, Rebreather, video camera and a scooter to top that one heh! LOL :D

Well Mario, In July we are hosting a "BUBBLE MAKER" Birthday party for our daughter..........bring the tanks. Our girls use their masks and our regulators in the tub as well. My hubby even went as far as to investigate underwater DELIVERY.What a hoot!!! I put my foot down on that one.

So now we have a pool. Not a swimming pool a "SCUBA POOL" :) Karen

So if we bring our own gear, can we play in the pool too?

So is this a BYODG party? I love parties! I'm on my way, Now... was that take a left or a right at the third light? :D

Y'all are just too funny! I love this place.

Now if only I could find a way to go diving!
