Hello spearos, I'm new to this board and just learning my way around.
A retired freediver but doing scuba/spearfishing since 1966. I live in Va. but do all my diving in the Outer Banks of NC.
Love to hunt (wrecks)and I don't waist what I take and follow ALL rules/regulations every time I enter the water. Nice to find others with the same interest.

Para esos que hablan Espanol yo los entiendo tambien y espero que su pesca es la mejor en el ano nuevo!

Cheers,

Welcome Spearo,
I think you'll really enjoy the posts on this board. Always interesting, lots of learning, and tons of laughs.
I hope to dive the Outer banks one day. I know the wrecks are the best out there.
Ever dive a bit north of there on the Andrea Doria?
I'd love to hear some first hand stories about that, on here.

Hi Natasha, thanks for your welcome post. There was a good Web Site on the Doria, I saw it just a few weeks ago, not all that nice (from a diver point of view) I will send it to ya if I can find it again.

Please keep me in mind, I own rental property in the Banks and know alot about this great diving area. I listed the web page here on the scubaboard if interested.

Cheers,

Andy.

Mario,
Awesome pictures! You keep impressing me with your knowledge.
Something about the Andrea Doria, I never get tired of hearing about her, and seeing pics of her.
Andy couldn't find the web page you listed. Can you re list it here? Thanks!

Natasha,
I am still but a feeble student of the O'great Oracle of the Abyss. But someday grasshopper... LOL!

I guess I just have too much time on my hands!

There's more sites on the Doria out there, but the vast majority of them are personal sites, and their content is weak.

Perhaps we can talk :royal: into putting up a Wreck Diving Page that we can index usefull info like this.

Sea you in the Deep Blue!
Mario :D
