Hi people.

My name is Les. New to this board and fairly new to scuba. I live in North Vancouver, BC (in canada eh) I have NASDS open water, TDI nitrox and advanced skills and only 30 logged dives in 1 1/2 yrs.

I have the urge to submerge!!!

Welcome Les!
I love Vancouver. Great place. Stopped there on my way to Alaska!
Where do you like to dive the most?
:sunny:
Dive the Planet.

Wow Les, that's amazing. You've done a lot in 1 1/2 years. I got certified almost exactly 2 years ago and only have 4 logged dives. Went to Cozumel right after certifying for 10 year anniversary and haven't been diving since! :( Not that I don't want to, can't convince by hubby to take me.

Vancouver is gorgeous. Went there for the Worlds Fair. I lived in Seattle at the time so it was a short drive! Where do you dive up that way?

Welcome Les New To Board,

What a strange name, anyway welcome to your new home, glad to have you here. Feel free to ask any question and answers will flow. Also feel free to join in on any topic.

Join right in, this is a great place for fun and knowledge.

I did my open water in Coz and it was a great way to get started. Definately made the local mud holes easier, knowing diving wasn't all like that.

Be sure to give a trip report when you get back.

Welcome Les,

"THE URGE", like a bad itch in the middle of your back, is rather contagious around here.

We hope these forums will provide you temporary relief like one of those long, monkey shaped back scratchers, but we all know the cure is out in the deep H2O.

So what type of dives have you done so far?

=-)

Les,

This is by far the friendliest and most informative BB on the web.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, people here actually give good advice.

Welcome, welcome. I could say from the Great White North, but you wouldn't know about that (the white stuff).

Lived in Vancouver (12th @ Broadway) in the eighties, love the place, and go back as often as I can to visit family and friends.

See ya around the board....
