I have promised myself the long dreamed of trip to South Australia's Great White Sharks on the Falie in spring 2002. I have yet to speak to anyone else who has made this trip, although a few have done day trips in South Africa.

Is there anyone out there with first or second hand knowledge of these trips? Its not that I need convincing, but would like to have some idea as to what to expect. How much shark action is there likely to be etc.

Hope one of you can help.

Thanks :)

Hi David D,

Contact my buddy "The Wizard of Oz" at jevento@iprimus.com.au. Tell him I sent you.

Best of luck.

Are you the same DocVikingo from "Undercurrent"?

Hi Iguana Don,

If you're wishing to throw rotten vegetables, then no.

If you have enjoyed his byline pieces in "Undercurrent" (many of which do not carry his name), and also "Rodale's Scuba Diving" ("Ask RSD" & "Dive Workshop" columns), then yes, I am he.

Pleased to make you acquaintance.
