Unfortunately, I'm not...I must live vicariously through others.

just found this one. Seems to be pretty active!

Hello Mr Moray, welcome to the family. We're glad you've found us.

My plans were spoiled for today's diving when the boat owner got sick. We were supposed to dive the same oil rigs I wrote an article on a couple of weeks ago. That article should appear on the Scuba Source front page soon. I'm still looking for someone who wants to dive tonight.

Tomorrow I have a boat trip planned to dive the Yukon here in San Diego's wreck alley.

Sunday I'm tenatively scheduled to dive the Coronado Islands off of the coast of Mexico.

If you're ever in San Diego and want to dive, give me a call. You can access my favorite dive boats schedule, Blue Escape here.

Sea you in the deep blue!

:froggy: I had a great trip to Catalina and one of the local oil rigs planned. HOWEVER, the DEMA bug hit me and I am down and out for a few days. Sorry Mario - maybe next week!

The pool boss, the pool.

I'm doing one of my DM internships on an OW course at one of the local pools on Saturday.

Then for fun I'm doing the PADI Equipment Specialist on Sunday

Thanks Deepsea, LOL, I wasn't going to mention who it was that got sick. These things happen, I'm still crying ;-0 but I'll get over it... NOT! :D Give me a call when you feel upto heading out and I'll be there in a heartbeat!

Here in the fridgid climes of S. Ontario the options are few & to get to those you gotta chop a hole in the ice! Better to put some ice in your margarita & watch old "Sea Hunt" reruns till the spring thaw I reckon.

Will be teaching Emergency Ist Aid to our scuba teaching group this Sunday, always nice to refresh & go over emergency procedures for the coming diving season.

Hey Mario, do you know Don "Barthy" Barthlemess over at S.B.C.C.(Santa Barbara City College). He runs the 2 year U/W tech. program there & was a classmate of mine at commercial dive school. I haven't seen him in 20 years, but I haven't aged a bit so no doubt he hasn't either.

Soon to come..." Crawling in Arctic Crabs..." ( a DEEPSEA ADVENTURE!!)

Adios!

D.S.D.

No I'm afraid I don't know "Barthy", but then again San Fransisco isn't exactly close to San Diego, so it shouldn't be a big surprise.

Pardon me for not being up on my geographical knowledge of the good ol' U.S. of A. Mario, us 10 Province Canucks get confused with your 50 State nation, even if it is the center of the universe!

By the way, Scubadoc provided this reference to potential viral contamination from raw sewage pollution that may affect your dive locale(s): go to http://www.seagrantnews.org/news/20010207 viruses.htm

Regards,
D.S.D.
