I have watched the movie Big Miracle this afternoon after my training in Anchorage. I did not expect to see an underwater scene with a scuba diver. It was rather goofy and a bit too sappy for my taste. I kept asking myself: "Why she jumps into the water without inflating her BC, where is the dry suit hose? etc.etc." Unfortunately the real story did not have such a cut and dry happy ending like the movie. The whales did not swim freely into the Arctic Ocean but disappeared and nobody knows what happened to them.

Barrow open your frigid arms I am coming tomorrow!
