The rainy season has officially begun in the Cayman Islands!! It feels as if its been raining for 5 straight days... although its been more like 3 or 4. But its forecasted to continue the rain until Monday ... diving was fine this past weekend... just sprinkling on the surface, but now the winds have picked up and the waves are breaking onto the iron shore.

Thus, I now have a cold from the change in weather, haven't been able to work because the cruise ships haven't been coming and am stuck inside trying to pull together the inspiration to start editing the large back log of photos I need to get through.

Mostly though... I've been dreaming of Cape Town! It is now officially 1 month and 17 days until I board my flight and 1 month and 19 days until I step off the plane into the Rainbow Nation! I think they call it the Rainbow Nation because of all the colourful life they have in the Ocean(s)!

Ok, here is my plan. I get off the plane. I walk/run to either: 1) the next dive boat or 2) the aquarium to convince them to hire me as their exclusive photographer. I'd jump into any tank! Even the jelly tanks! I'd quite look forward to a jelly tank actually. I can handle a few stings here and there...

Until then... I wait. Wait for the weather to improve, the storm to clear, the waters to calm, for my inspiration to hit me, for Cape Town.
