I troued the southern end of your lovely isle once - April '88 - fully expecting rain. Took a plastic cover for my felt hat, but didn't use it until I got back to Boston.
Never been that far south, but if you'll look at our Central and South America forum and/or run a Search, you should find a lot of info. Stay in touch...
