Hi all! I have a scuba itch that can't be scratched...

I'm in Bonaire from the 1st till 14th feb. By day 3 my regular buddy (Claire) will be struggling to keep up with me!

I'm looking for an extra buddy or 2 to help poor Claire have a rest. We also like to meet and make new dive friends :)

We are both experienced drivers with 500+ dives under our belts. I'm also an assistant instructor. This is our 3rd trip to Bonaire so we are quite experienced on the setup.

I love all dive types especially night diving.

We have an unlimited diving package and truck.

If you'd like to meet up give me a shout.:D

Where are you staying?]

I'm contemplating a return....I'm feeling the urge...

We arrive on the 7th and leave 15th. I love meeting new dive buddies. We are at belmar (the buddy dive op in belnem). I will be jonesing to get wet when we arrive so we will go south that day. But we will be doing some night dives for sure!!
Near casino? Staying at/near don fosters?

We usually do 22-25 dives a weeek, but in october I think we only did 20...record low but finally winding down (we got back from caymans into Seattle, handed over keys to the movers and drove cross country to Texas even before our gear dried)

Unfortunately the movers put my cold water gear into the back of the storage unit, so I haven't been able to dive since we arrived in Texas...luckily we still had our warm water gear separate!!

Sounds like with your back ground and experience you would be a good candidate to become solo diver certified and do a few on your own.
Just thinking out of the box.

What can i say, i just like the company.

Belnem, that's the bit just south of the airport? Not sure who/what don fosters is. We are at the Djambo :)

I have stayed at the Belmar and enjoyed it.
My wife (who is scared of the water) thought the water out front was too rough for her snorkeling comfort level and truth be told it is a little more open that some other places we have stayed.

Blue, I think we are now connected via fb. You and I will touch base there and meet up for dives. We will have our light sabers (as our dive buddies call it) for the night dives :)

Sure, we can all do solo diving cert, but what is wrong with wanting to meet new friends/dive buddies? I am down with that!!

Yep, even thinking about starting to pack :)

Regs went off for service last week. Just heard back that 1 set has a cracked 1st stage body! Sounds cheap :(

Can't wait to try my home made UV torch on the night dives :D
