I'll be visiting Ireland at the beginning of August and would like to spend a day diving off the west coast.
Any recommendations on the best place to dive anywhere along that coast?
And any corresponding dive club recommendations?
TIA

Try Scubadivewest (Scubadivewest.com) in county Galway. They are miles away from anywhere though so factor travel time in to your plans. Great diving.

I would go with Brians suggestion go to Scubadive West for shore and boat diving Cillian or Breffni are the guys to ask for , unless Oceandivers in Dublin are going to Quilty more boat diving Give Willie a call on 0035312378471 other than that look at Mullaghmore again just boat diving ,
boats in Ireland are normally RIBs
