Know of any outlets that sell a weight harness, belt and straps such that the "weight" is on the shoulders, that can be worn without a wetsuit? DUI has the Weight & Trim Systems I and II, but they chaff bare skin.

Thanks,

The Northern Diver Weight and Trim looks nice. Mine is comfortable in a suit, plus there are two removable thigh pockets as lagniappe! I don't need it in t-shirt and shorts since I'm good without weights in that configuration, and the shorts have pockets, so can't help too much with the "bare skin" part.

Bob3 reps them here in the States. He can be reached at divers3@pacbell.net.

Thanks.

I like the way the pockets attach like holsters.

I bought the DUI harness.....

I don't like that you have to be out of the water with the harness off.... to reinstall the weights. This makes the harness useless pretty much if you are going to try for any certs that require removal of weight system and reinstall in ow.

If I had it to do again..... I would probably have gone with the Halcyon harness attachable weight system. Much easier to remove and reinstall your weights as needed. (not too many scenarios where you would do this... but a few).

The DUI is a quite an ordeal to reinstall the weight systems.
