Anyone have any experience with Deep Outdoors backplates and other equipment.
I've seen some pretty good deals on their plates and wonder how they stack up with
the other brands.

don't have a do plate, but i like my doubles wing. it's well made.

Yeah, I don't have their plate, either, but use their doubles wing. Good quality gear, although it comes with a very long inflater hose.

The earlier plates weren't too good. The geometry was off. The users hated how it tended to ride up, and bind in certain areas. I don't know how they are now. One would think far better. I think they were produced offshore in Asia and the quality was nowhere near the fit and finish of something like a Halcyon, Diverite or Hammerhead plate. My favorite is the the FredT plate - custom plate. I also like Tobin's plate. Innovate stuff. https://www.deepseasupply.com/

I don't use them personally, but I'm good friends with a divemaster that puts 200+ dives a year on his deep outdoors setup and he loves it.
