Question Anyone ever used an Edge BC??

I'm somewhat new to diving. I have seen a BC on line out there by the brand name of Edge. Does anyone know who makes them? Are they any good? Anyone own one or have experience using one? any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

They are the same company as HOG and I've heard really good things about them. I think they use the same manufacturer as Sea Elite and I have a SE BC I like alot.

Thanks for the response. Also, glad to hear you like your Sea Elite...I have been looking at some of their models as well.

I have a Tek-X I got lightly used here on the boards. It's pretty nice except that I don't love the front mounted pocket. If I was buying new as it sounds like you are, you can get a HOG BP/W setup for a few hundred bucks which might be worth it. Their wings are really cheap like $200 or something and you should be able to pick up a BP and harness cheapish if you deal hunt well.

As an addendum to all this, Edge IS the manufacturer. They aren't made by another brand.

They make great gear. I've used a lot of it. They HOG tec line is outstanding stuff, from the fins to the BP/W setups. The new line of BC's (Stealth II, or the Sea Elite Rek-X) are great, lot's of useful features, very durable.

It is well priced gear for the quality your get. I would highly recommend it.
