In terms of buoyancy correction they only weight the actual weight minus the weight of the water they displace. Even a weight is trying to float in it's own pathetic way.

but at lead the material density is that heigh that you can ignore the amount of water displaced.

I was wrong, I apologize. I should have said, it is common to see lead weights that do not weigh the amount advertised. I hope you will forgive my mistake.
