I have my gear insured thru H2Oinsurance.com which is the agency DAN uses.
I've also read here you can add your gear to the homeowners insurance policy for a fraction of what it cost to insure it any other way. I'll have to check that out before renewing my policy.
 
The problem with adding it to your homeowners is well known that if you make a claim you might be in for a big rate increase. When I mentioned state farm I meant their personal property floater policies. Not very expensive and covers all risks.

DAN offers great coverage but it can be expensive for multiple cameras and housings. I will check into the USAA policy.
