Just thought I would share a little teaser video from my current cave project. 1227 feet down from the surface, is what is marked on the map as "terminal sump". This video shows a little of what it took to make the first dives ever. More dives planned for this winter (so we can use snow mobiles). Our last trip to the sump and back took 13 hours. Our next trip, including dive, decompression and rest before starting to ascend the ropes will be over 24 hours.

Fun stuff!

I've always wondered: What do people do on dives with so many long decompression stops? Meditate? Ponder the mysteries of the universe? Nap? Bring an iPad in a waterproof case and play video games?

Insane stuff. Hope one day I will be even 10% as hardcore a diver.
