Last year I did Pet Cemetary to Blue Abyss and have been trying to find out the distance - just as a log book thing. It took about 70 minutes swimming to get there on SM. I can't find a map with distance markings. Does anyone know how far it is?
Best I can come up with is that a few weeks ago I did Peacock spring and 35 mins took us 1500ft (457m) up the line before we turned. So on that basis the swim to Blue Abyss is about 3000 ft (914m). Does that sound right? Does anyone have a real, measured number?

Wow. Sound of crickets. I'll go with my guess until anyone respond with a better number

As you undoubtedly know, with only one exception I know of, there are no distance markers in MX. I looked at the map of the NoHoch system, which I own, and there are no penetration distances marked on it. So I don't know of any way to figure it out except to take your transit time and multiple it by your swimming speed -- but the King Pong restriction will have slowed you down, as well the several restrictions once you leave the Diaz line, so this is at best very approximate.

Older thread on CDF seems to have roughly the same estimates.
Blue Abyss

Sounds like you're at least in the right ball park.
