Why yes there is......Cozumel is known for it's spectacular coral formations, huge pinnacles, swim through's and shear walls. What it holds is some very special caves that not only amaze cave divers from around the world but also are very important to the ancient history and biology of the Island. Here like the Galapagos are examples of evolution and or the lack there of.

Join the respected Germán Yañez of the Circulo Espeleologico del Mayab A.C. and I for a wonderful adventure in a place few have seen.

Nice video. Now you have my thinking about cancelling one of my reef days when I'm in Cozumel in a few weeks. :cool2:
 
Those are some bursts of speed in the video:D

I've been in the cavern zone for that system quite a few times, it's a nice alternative when the port is closed and it's too late to head over to the mainland.
 
I've done a couple of dives with German. The caves on Coz are fascinating, because they have SO much life in them.
