Looking for Cayman resort/dive ops comparable to Coco view Roatan

Hello fellow FB's.

I am looking to setup a trip to one of the Cayman islands sometime between April/June.
We often go to Coco View in Roatan, which so happens to be one of our favorite dive destinations.

Things we are looking for in a comparable Cayman trip would be:
Experianced-good record dive op (not one that caters to newly certifed divers)
Good front yard / shore diving @ resort
Clean rooms

With one exception, Cobalt Coast (DiveTech) and Compass Point (Ocean Frontiers) meet your requirements.

The exception is your request for "not one that caters to newly certifed divers". In my experience here, ALL dive ops cater to newly certified divers because that's where the market is. This is as true of DiveTech and OF as it would be of any other op. Of course, there will be some experienced divers present also, but they will (usually) be the minority.

If you are really saying "we don't care how many novice divers are on the boat as long as we are left to do our own thing" then OF would qualify.

Sunset House on Grand Cayman is another option. Breakfast only is included in their package rate but they have a restaurant and a bar/grill on site. It's also walking distance to many restaurants in Georgetown.

Decent shore dive and great Bar. I do at least 1 shore dive there whenever I visit.

I think you want a little more.

Another vote for Sunset House. They were great about letting us stay down when others had to surface, so we were able to do longer, self guided dives. I think they may be somewhat less expensive than Cobalt, but I haven't stayed there, so can't make the comparison.

A friend stayed at Pirate's Point on Little Cayman, and said it was fantastic, too.

I can vouch for:

Cobalt Coast/DiveTech, Grand Cayman, pretty isolated NW point, 2 good shore diving spots at resort and at Lighthouse Point, breakfast included very good AI option if you want, don't absolutely need a car but would recommend it

Compass Point/Ocean Frontiers, Grand Cayman, isolated East end, no shore diving at resort, no meals, units are nice condos with full kitchens, several restaurants close, need a car, in my opinion best of 3 really excellent operators

Little Cayman Beach Resort/Reef Divers, Little Cayman, just plain isolated duh, no shore diving at resort, excellent AI

The diving is excellent at all 3. All offer unguided or guided dives, the former effectively takes care of the no diving with newly certified divers request. DiveTech and Reef Divers ask that you do dives of about an hour, Ocean Frontiers allows you to dive your available gas. I don't think you can really go wrong, these are great resorts and operators.

My wife and I are going to Cobalt Coast June 10-17. They are who my Cayman friend recommended. We have not stayed there before but the tripadvisor reviews are all pretty good.
