The last time we were in the Caymans (2012) we very much enjoyed visiting the Cayman Islands National Gallery on Grand Cayman. It is a lovely art gallery with free admission, plenty of free parking, lovely exhibitions, a nice gift shop, and beautiful grounds. When we visit the Caymans again this fall we look forward to making another visit to the gallery.
When we were there we really appreciated viewing a collection of photographs by Courtney Platt called "Cayman Now and Then". He had integrated current and past images from locations all around Cayman so you could get a glimpse of the past but still see the same area today.
I've just come across a notice stating that the Cayman Now & Then collection will be on display at Heritage House on Cayman Brac from July 15-27. So if you are going to be on the Brac during that week, you might want to take some time to visit the exhibition at Heritage House.
