My brother is a freediver and I plan to spot him while wearing scuba tanks. Do you have a favorite place to do this or an optimum place?

Thanks for the info!

I've seen the really deep freedivers not far off Sunset House. Some of these freedivers go down a couple hundred feet. The wall is close to shore and topside support is easily available. Being on the lee shore the water is normally relatively calm.

For less dramatic depths, most any place with reasonably calm water should be good.

I see freedivers at Turtle Reef from time to time. Depth on the sand flats is only about 65 feet but the main wall is an easy swim (for a freediver) and has a depth you don't even need to know about.
