I know that the prime area in CR is the Gulf of Papagayo on the NW coast, but wonder if anyone has dived in the southern area -- Playa Uvita, Ballena National Park, Los Canos Islands, Drake Bay. etc. Any tips on time of year to visit, dive operators to use, general dive conditions, places to stay, etc. would be very helpful.
