Hi all, Anybody heard or seen the dive conditions in Utila since hurricane Felix passed by or went through. Would like to find out some info before Sept. 19th? Thanks

Wet and salty. Felix missed by a country mile.

Besides, if you were going Sept 19th, what were you going to do?

Go, have fun, dive. See Utila before the calendar turns to year 2000.

I sent an email to a friend on Utila on Tuesday and just got this response.

Good Morning Guy and Jac,

We are all safe and sound in spite of the siege mentality that hit the island. We took all of the precautions that were necessary, then just waited. Basically for nothing. It started to kick up about 2:30AM, but not even as bad as some of our regular, localized storms. Once again, our geographic blessing comes through and we are for all intents and purposes, unscathed.

We greatly appreciate your concern, and look forward to a beautiful day of watching people pulling plywood off of their windows... <g>

Regards from the Beautiful Tropics,

Tony

You should not worry about Felix. Its Gabriel, Howard, Ina, etc that you should be worried about, LOL
