CR for 2 weeks in Jan

Just booked a house for 2 weeks on Flamingo Beach..............any advice on dive op would be appreciated. I definately want to see some mantas but beyond that I just want to get wet. Hell, any insight, tips for the area, or other cool things to check out would also be helpful.

We have been very happy with Costa Rica Diving on the way into Flamingo. Parque Nacional Tempisque is a good wildlife viewing experience and Hacienda Guachipelin in Parque Nacional Rincon De La Vieja is a cool adventure with zip lines, a rappel and white water tubing. Both parks are 1 1/2-2 hrs, but worth the trip. Don't count on mantas, we have been on 8 dives in the Catalinas and only seen mantas once. Great diving though.
