Playas Del coco to Drake Bay

Is there an easy way to go from Playas Del Coco to Drake Bay?
Flying, bus, car rental?
I want to spend a week in each place this January.

Its about an eight or nine hour drive plus a boat trip. Costa Rica has great bus service, but it can take forever. The local airlines, Sansa and Natureair go to both places, but not directly.
