Yes,i can also recomend you Big Blue DC@Bol/Brac,i dove with them few times, staff is more than friendly! There is also speed boat(katamaran) sailing to Vis and Hvar,or you can take a ferry(slower version). But diving on island Vis is much more better than around Bol. I forgot to mention, there are some archeological underwater sites near port of Vis,amphoras, both roman and greek.

For Vis Island the ferry drops you off in the center of town. The town boarders the harbour and it is quite small so you won't have any trouble walking to the dive center. I think I dove with Dodoro and I was very happy with my dives.

Dodoro is 5 minutes walking from ferry port. The owner of Dodoro(Zoran) can pick you up with his car if you have much gear, you can arrange anything with him.

Thanks again for all the info. I'll probably catch the ferry to Vis or one of the other islands as recommended.

If you decide for Vis here's link to another diving center located in town of Komiza Manta Diving Centar

Web site is not updated quite often but you'll get quick reply to e-mail queries.

I know that it's too late.....

Hvar is the most beautiful Island in Croatia with perfect dive places. It's like 1,5 hour from Split by Ferry.

The best base:

Nurkowanie - NAUTICA - Centrum Turystyki Podwodnej. Nurkowanie, kursy i szkolenia nurkowe, sprzêt nurkowy

english:

Nurkowanie = Centrum Turystyki Podwodnej - Nautica

Just use emails from the web site. They change phone numbers all the time

You can also buy local products on Hvar Island, like honey, vine, olives oil. I love this place!!!!
