    Top 5 Great Lake Charters

I would like everyones input on your top 5 Dive Charters in all of the Great Lakes. The Charters that you keep useing when you go to a area or the Charter that keeps you coming back to the same area. I think we all would like to use that charter that goes one step more to make it a great and safe day.
    Thanks

Why do I take more gear to a
Gilboa Quarry Trip than I do
for a cave diving trip to
    Florida????

The Great Lakes Diver - USCG Certified Wreck Diving Charter Boat

This is one of my favorites. Boat operates out of Port Sanilac Michigan and dives the wrecks in the Sanilac Shores Underwater Preserve. The boat goes out every Sat and Sun during the dive season.

One of the main reasons I like the boat is that it does wrecks for all levels of divers and everyone is welcome. Not only are the dives great, but the surface intervals are just as fun if not more fun on the boat. Just ask about the "egg dives"!

Another great charter is Rec and Tec Scuba Dive Charters - Lexington Michigan, Thumb area Preserve, Sanilac Preserve

This charter is operated by Gary Venet. This is a very comfortable boat to dive off of. Gary operates out of both Port Sanilac and Harbor Beach. One of the great strengths to this charter is the Tech charters that Gary offers. This summer I was out on his boat doing the Dunderberg and the Charles King out of Harbor Beach. Had a great time on his boat!

I must agree with Rec and Tec. I just dove with Gary, last weekend and he runs a great charter. Dove Dicovery Dive Charters out of Clevland and they run a good operation also. The hot soup was great on a cold day.
Up in Tobemory we have had great times with G/S Sports, last time we got the Zodiak for a smaller group and cut the travel time out to the wrecks in half the time.
