    How did the repacking go? Did you like it? Did it work? Any problems? Thanks I am trying it myself.

    You dont say the type of bauer filter that you want felts for
    if its the p21 type Bauer 057679
    I have thousands of all the 3 types that are used to re pack
    I sell them in packs to repack 10 times

    Are these the blue filters that are one piece? I am using these and thought they were throw aways. It would be great to be able to rebuild them.

    I built my own filter and repack them myself for a Bauer K-14. I use Sams bought greenie pads for the ends and as a seperater for the charcoal cheap just cut them with a scissors to size. Been working for me for 25 years. I fill about 300 tanks a year never had a problem.

    Thanks Sealark. I guess my questions is, if I already have the tower assembly in place, is there a need fo rme to build another tower or can I just repack the filters I currently have in my possession?

    If you are talking about 059183 Triplex, the lifting ring can be removed to access the inside. Once you see the double internal chambers that must be repacked, you might consider X22249 replacements @ $32.00 each a bargin. I offer them for less in lots of 5 and 10.
