    Buying a used air compressor

I found a used compressor close to me. I am thinking about checking it out. However, I cannot find any information for it over the internet. The ad says:

    Manufacturer: CFM Diving
    Model: C3-7D
Specs: B&S Farymann diesel engine, manifold w/ extended air intake, 4 stage, 5000psi, oil vapor filter and full size air filter.

Has anyone heard of this compressor setup before? Any other thoughts?

Model number is probably a repackager designation. Could be any OEMs block. Need pictures to identify.

The only thing in those pictures that remind me of an OEM is the filter tower. It looks like one made by Poseidon.

You might try asking the seller to email you a couple of better photos--closeups, if possible. It doesn't look familiar to me, but I don't know much about Poseidon units. I am familiar with a number of other mfr's, though.
