new to the computer

ok this may sound really dumb ... can you use your computer if it is air integrated if you dont have it connected. I am going on a trip cant bring my reg because of a part issue. I am going to order a computer but I want to make sure I can use it if its not connected since I will be using rental gear. I thought about just going checap like the veo 100 but I like the suunto cobras consol.

If you buy a wrist mount computer yes, you can use it without the AI.

Hey Crawfish Diver;

What you can do is disconnect your air integrated computer's hose from the first stage of your regulator and take the computer and hose with you on your trip. Then ask the LDS where you will be diving to swap out their console with your computer and you can use your own computer with their reg.
