I decided to have a go at changing the battery of my Vyper after getting a quote of $55 for a change of battery.
It was real easy !!! Took me all of 10 minutes .This is what I did :
1. Turn black plastic locking bezel 10 degress clockwise.
2. Removed clear plastic cover
3. Replaced with new battery (cost $2.00)
4. Lubricated O-ring with silicone grease
5. Repositioned o-ring and clear plastic cover
6. Replaced and locked by turning locking bezel anti-clockwise.
I did not change the o-ring as I had a good look and it looked fine. I was wondering if any of you guys out there have reused the o-ring as I did and whether you experienced any problems. I am considering hunting down a new 0-ring before taking it in the water.
