Does anyone know if Suunto computers (actually the Gekko in particular) calculate NDL differently for Air mode vs. Nitrox mode set to 21%, given that the manual says all Nitrox calculations are actually +1%? I leave my computer in Nitrox mode and set it to 21% when diving air (meaning all calculations are actually for 22% O2), and just wanted to know if this is more conservative than the Air mode (that is, if Air mode is really 21% 02). Or does the +1% only affect MOD? Thanks.

I believe they are +1% for the O2 tox/MOD, not for the N2 loading.
