Does anyone know of a way I can replace the stock oversize watch strap that came with my SmartTEC for a proper bungie setup, like on my SK7 w/ DSS mount?
I like the SmartTEC a LOT, and plan to use it in gauge mode as I get closer to tech diving /DIR, but I've never been very happy with the wrist strap. Works fine on land, but once you get to depth, it's too loose... you either live with it a little floppy or tighten it down (and then loosen it on ascent!). Lame.
It would be incredibly handy to be able to set it up with bungies for my wrist instead, but I'm not seeing any especially good way to connect it.
Has anyone here faced and resolved this "issue"?
(And please don't bother making uwatec bottom timer recommendations)
