can anyone reccommend a console computer for me? i was lookin at the sherwood profile but not too sure, wanna keep it in the 400$ price range

We're happy with out Areis ATMOS-2s. I think they are in closeout mode and great deals can be had.

The Aeris A2 is priced well now, around $250 for the wrist model at most retailers. I have seen the full Aeris counsel with the knife, A2, compass and pressure gauge for under $400.

I spent around 400$ for my suunto vyper with console and air guage, and love it. I'd recommend getting a computer with a console/air guage because normally its cheaper than buying them seperate.
Of course, if you already have an guage/console or you want to wear your computer on your wrist, then its all a moot point.
