Anyone here use a Suunto and have some of their dives on their dive PC disappear? Last week I was trying to download my dives from a 2 week trip approx 40 dives and I got an error message on SDM 2.3 saying something like "er log overflow". It would hit 100% on the download and I would get this error. There are 10-15 dives (4 days worth) completely missing. Tried it on separate computers. When I went to check the logbook in the Vytec itself, those dives are also missing. Pissed as I don't write down my dive details....

thanks CIBdiving, will give it a shot over the weekend and see what it salvages...

You should also note that the computer only has limited memory, and may not have been able to store that many dives. It erases the oldest dives to make room for new ones. How much it can actually store depends on what your sampling rate is set to and how long your dives are, but with the default settings it is typically 35 dives. So you will likely not be able to download everything even if the software is working correctly.

good point maractwin... didn't think about that.

CIBdiving, tried that little program, kept getting an error halfway thru.

As dives accumulate, they can be printed out , to have a hard copy to keep, which is something that I need to do, as there are 64 dives logged on my Vitec now.
