Help downloading dives from Aeris Atmos Elite

Need a bit of help here. I have an Atmos Elite and just got the cable to download dives. I downloaded the software for it and then tried downloading dives. I get the pop up window that indicates "USB interface FOUND." I put the DC into PC mode and the 120 second timer starts ticking away. So I click start on the PC. The window says, "starting handshake" for a few seconds, then "TIME OUT" pops up for a couple seconds. The window then closes and nothing else happens. I've searched all over and haven't been able to find an answer!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! This is driving me nuts!
