I purchased a Mares Nemo Sport as my first computer, and generally have been very pleased with it. It is compact, relatively easy to use and provides most of the functions I want (though I'd love a Free Dive mode for snorkeling) without adding a lot of unnecessary bells and whistles. But, unfortunately, the manual is often unclear and leaves something to be desired.
My question concerns the Nemo Sport's Deep Stop function. The manual describes how the Deep Stop alarm is triggered and what appears on the display, but it doesn't (as far as I can tell) provide instructions on activating the function or adjusting its settings.
As I understand it, the Deep Stop function is basically an alarm that goes off when you ascend to a preset depth at which you plan to make a deep safety stop. But how do you turn this function on? And how do you set the activation depth?
Any additional hints or tips re. this function would be really appreciated!
