I couldn't find this anywhere in the manual, but i'm hoping someone out here knows the answer or maybe it doesn't even matter? I'm curious which way Scubapro recommends rounding your O2 percentage on the computer?
Some of the other computers I looked at, before buying the Aladin, would actually say that you should always round down, or up, but I can't find anything either way on the Aladin 2G.
I know that in general the margin of error is 1% so it shouldn't matter all that much, but like I said some manufacturers DO have a recommendation so if Scubapro has one i'd like to follow it.

Thanks!
If you want to be more conservative with respect to your NDL (slightly less bottom time), round down. If you want to have slightly more bottom time, but be more conservative with respect to a shallower MOD, round up.
You should always round up, regardless of the manufacturer of your computer. That's what the training says.
Actually it says round up OR follow manufacturers recommendations on the computer.
Like I said I know some comps actually say to do one or the other so I wanted to know if this one did, but I couldn't find the answer. Otherwise, yeah i'll just round up. The risk of O2 tox is far worse than going into deco.
1% doesn't matter. Forget it. I'll spend a week in Bonaire or on a liveaboard and set my computer for 32%. I analyze every tank, of course but anything between 31% and 33% is 32%. I'm not changing a computer over 1%.
Ditto, 31-33 I'm probably just going to leave it at 32. This is not an exact science, and analyzers are not that accurate, plus they're affected by a mosquito spitting in the thing. Other than that I have always rounded down since that is more conservative on NDLs. It's less conservative for O2 exposure, but that is unlikely to be my controlling factor. It's also less conservative on MOD, but I don't use a depth alarm anyway, I'm aware of my depth and MOD.
FWIW, the Suunto Gekko manual says DO NOT ROUND UP, in one of those highlighted sections written by a lawyer. The reason being if you rounded up, then dove to the limit shown, you would technically be exceeding the NDL of your real mix.
My PADI manual, (circa 2000) says to round, using the mathematical meaning of "round." So 31.4 becomes 31 and 31.6 becomes 32. And to do whatever floats your boat (obviously not their words) if it reads 31.5. It also basically says 1% doesn't really matter.
