I'm interested in buying a Suunto SK7 wrist compass and the going rate is $100. One popular website has them for $70 but the rest of their equipment is comparable to other sites' prices. Is it possible these may be factory "seconds" or have some other reason they're $30 cheaper than everyone else? I'm all for buying local (which I do) but this is something I may want to buy if they're standard issue. Thanks.

I assume you're talking about the L******P**.com site, not seconds, just lower margins because they are web based.

Thanks. I think my local dive shop could benefit more than them then. :D
