they have a depth meter and timer.
just curious on how well they perform. are they accurate ?
i haven't had the chance to see them in person but they're supposed to be water activated and everything....
they could be a alternate bottom timer / depth meter, not expensive for the asked price.
I saw then at the airport and do not look too comprehensive as combine a normal swatch with depth meter. For fun and snorkeling maybe ok but I believe it is more of a fashion move than anything else. I sincerely wouldn't trust it when diving.

i never thought about diving with one. i'm very happy with my computer and my backup watch. i was just interested to know about the reliability of the depth gauge.
OK. Back to reliability...(and I love swatches, I actually have a few irony models which in my opinion look great), if you ever tried mountain biking with one of them for a short while (a few rides) you will see how a bit of shaking affects the swatch.
By the way, where do you recommend good diving (not necessarily too deep) in Portugal? Cheers
I just dove Cabo with my new one as a backup for rental equip gauges. It came up with the same time as my husband's Breitling and the depth (after converting to metres in my head) agreed with my rental SPG every time I checked them.
I would not use it as my only way of knowing how deep or how long, but it sure is nice to have something that remembers the data after I get out of the water, and my husband likes me not grabbing his wrist any more to see how long we've been down.
Also, I have the newb problem of trouble holding my safety stop, it has a huge bright red mark between 5 and 6m that I can look at.
