We have a couple of Pelagic manufacturer (hockey puck type) computers. On a dive yesterday they got pretty hot in the car before the dive and while suiting up they probably cooled down and some moisture condensed on the LCD screen. This interfered with viewing during the dive. Many hours later after gear rinsing and cooler weather this seems to have dissipated.

So there would seem to be some trace moisture inside. I've seen this before. A few days ago I wrote in about my Matrix (Pelagic) case cracking. This unit has had that problem over the years but has continued to work.

Anyone know a good way to get dry them out safely? My brainstorm right now is to seal them in a zip lock containing dessicant packs and with batter compartment open, then leave them for a few days. I think putting them in the sun might be harmful. I do think any moisture inside is probably not good.
