If the mode button on my computer is held for 6 seconds while displaying the last dive logged, it will display "EA" and go into a short countdown, then return to normal. The only thing that I can find in the manual says that this is the "external calibration access".
Can anyone explain what this does?

Depth calibration for our techs if I remember correctly.

Doug Krause:

Thanks Doug, I was waiting for a decent hour to call you and make sure....

So is there a chance that I screwed something up or is this fairly idiot-proof?

Nope, you would need some calibration equipment only we have, that just puts the unit "ready" to accept our calibration.
