I've been reluctant to buy a download cable for my Suunto Vyper just because I couldn't stomach the close to $100 for the thing. However, I recently ran across this cable and thought I'd give it a shot. At half the price, it seemed worth it.

Ordered it on a Tuesday, and got it by airmail in four days, so pretty quick turnaround.

I'm running MAC OS 10.3.9, and MAC OS Dive Log (here). I simply downloaded and installed Custom Idea's driver, and my computer and the Dive Log software were communicating perfectly. Pulled almost 70 dives off of the thing, and started getting caught up in my log book.

Overall, a nice alternative to the more expensive USB cables out there. I am a very happy customer, and would highly recommend it . . .
