I am a new diver and am purchasing my first set of gear. I am trying to decide on what type of computer to get. I live in the north east so alot of my diving will be in this area. My question is "what is the difference between the air interated computers and the non-air intergrated units. I know the simple things like more accurate pressure and air time left. But other than that is there a real difference? any help is appreciated. thanks in advance

air-integrated means that the computer keeps track of how much air you have
used and projects how much time you have left

if a computer is not air-integrated, you have to keep track of your air separately
via a pressure gauge.

you pay more for an air-integrated computer.

personally, i can keep track of my air just fine with a pressure gauge, so i use
a cheap (Aeris Atmos 2) computer that does everything i need it to do.
