How's has the shore snorkeling off the hotels etc. been . We were still considering going there in July. Thanks for any help. If we don't go this July the following year is a sure thing.

The snorkeling in front of the Coral Princess is second to none! It was almost better than some of the dives I've been on.

There wasn't much shore snorkeling to be had at Hotel Cozumel. It was pretty bare, but sometimes schools of fish would swing by.

Is this opinion based on before or after wilma experience? It will make a very big difference.

I don't know what the diving/snorkeling was like in front of Caribe Blu before wilma, but last week there was some fish, but not a lot else. Mostly rocks, red algae, and a little sand.

There were still cruise excursion snorkelers snorkeling from shore next to the hotel.

Sorry, I should have said pre Wilma. I haven't been there post Wilma.
