Actually, unless they've extended the marine park north, you are allowed to hunt them on the northern reefs if you can get an op to take you there.

You could also take a day trip to the mainland and go bug hunting there. I don't know about the Playa area, but I've seen lots of bugs caught south of there, down around the Paamul area...
 
Depends on if you are talkin' about the marine park area.

Ooops, just noticed Firefyter's post.

Last bug huntin' I did was at Barracuda/San Juan reefs a few years ago, north part of the island.

Believe me...the bugs have the advantage at those two locations. :D

Or you could alway try the east side of the island. :11:
