No one has used Christi and Jesus(Chucho)? I used them last year and they were great! I'm trying to get in touch with them again to book a trip but haven't been able to reach them, I thought someone on here may have been in contact with them this year?
Just an FYI in case anyone is looking at booking with Chucho Diver's, contact them for pricing because they had a rate increase and their site has NOT been changed to reflect it.
My girlfriend and I just got back from our Cozumel trip. We booked Chucho for all of our diving and can say that his operation is top notch. He's very attentive to everyone, and always made sure everyone in the group was doing ok. He keeps a small boat, the most we had were 5 divers on one trip. He took the 5 of us on our first night dive, and made us all feel very comfortable with it (night diving is a bit scary for beginning divers like us!) He also knows the reefs very well, and was able to show us a good variety of life. We'll definitely book him again on our next trip.
In August 2009 we booked a week in Cozumel, and then scrambled to find a dive operation.
Our group was comprised of four newly certified divers; we were extremely pleased to learn Chucho Divers limited the size of the dive groups to 6. The core of our group (two couples) did 13 dives in 5 days. A pair of divers were added to our day 4 and 5 dives to round out our group to six (it was clear they were repeat customers).
Chucho (Chu Chu), what can you saw about the best Dive Master in Cozumel (OK that’s my opinion), he took one of our less confident divers by the hand and acted as a personal guide, all the while keeping an expert eye out on the rest of the group.
Chucho Divers coordinated our pickup at the pier of our Hotel which was really cool (it was just another way Chucho made you feel special). At the end of the days diving (with consecutive dive days) I was pleased to learn Chucho would hold, rinse and prepare our gear for the next days dives.
I have only one compliant, like most good time, it had to end. We are planning on another week in august 2010 and will only want to dive with Chucho.
