1st time in Coz - Who picks up in front of Suites Bahia?

I will be taking my first trip to Cozumel 30OCT to 6NOV and staying at the Suites Bahia. I will be traveling solo (without a dive buddy).

I'm interested in learning more about dive ops that pick up in front of the hotel (or within walking distance of it).

Looking at the 3-D street level map on Google, I can see a boat from Deep Blue making a pick up - so that's one I guess. Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

Several ops pick up in town at the pier.....Aldora....BlueXtsea come to mind....I am sure there are others I just can't think of right now....you may want to check or email the ops website that you are thinking about using and see if they do pickup there...

Across the street a bit is the Aldora pier. Aldora and Blue xtaSea will pick up there. There may be more, I am sure others will chime in. There is also the Aqua Safari Pier close by. Aqua Safari and perhaps a few others can pick up at that pier. Some of these ops will take your gear (some will not take your wet suit) for the week so that you do not have to schlep it back and forth. Its a short cab ride to Puerto Abrigo Marina where some ops keep their boats. Albatros Charters is my favorite op (wait you will see lots of cheer leading) and they keep their boats there. Whatever you decide, enjoy your trip

As others have said, Aqua Safari has it's own pier a block south. Aldora pier is 1/2 block north & Aldora, BlueXTSea & Deep Blue use it.

One thing to consider also when picking a dive op when staying at Bahia Suites or Casa Mexicana is the morning departure time. You receive an excellent breakfast at the Mexicana (1 block from Bahia) you won't want to miss. I think breakfast starts at 7:00am?

I would also up grade to a balcony room city or ocean view it is well worth the $.

Have a great time in Coz I stay at the Bahia when ever I'm staying in town.

    Hello!

I'm going to be at the Bahia from the 27th to the 3rd. Diving with Blue XTsea. They pick up directly in front of the hotel. I also recommend upgrading to a ocean view room. It nice to sit on the balcony in the morning and wait for you boat to pick you up. I'll also be there solo so if you wanna check out some places to eat let me know. This is my 5th trip to Cozumel in the last 2 years so I'd be more than happy to give you some recommendations if you're interested!
    Anyone wanna go diving?

Roatan...Nice! I've been trying to get down there for a while. Cozumel just always works out so well for me I can't justify going anywhere else. Have fun!

I would have preferred to go back to Coz, but the couple we got certified insisted on trying something different . . . so Roatan it is for our Spring Break trip. Hopefully we'll be back in July.
