BIG event gearing up for Dec. 6-9 2012 Cozumel Scuba Fest: A Tribute to Cousteau
Hola Scuba Board! Some may have already heard about this event that is being planned for December 6th to 9th 2012, the Cozumel Scuba Fest: A Tribute to Cousteau
It's being organized by the local business chamber Coparmex, the City, State & Federal Tourism Boards, and Air France.
Many local dive shops here are already on board. They're planning many events during the 3 days, lionfish safari, photo shootout, and lots of diving in the day, and music and dining events in the evenings, conferences, cinema, etc. It should turn out to be a great 3 day festival!!

Somehow I missed this when it was first posted. Antonio, would you please keep the denizens of this board up to date as details are confirmed such as who, what, when of seminars etc. I may change my travel plans and come back to Coz early this winter so I can attend!

Do you know which dive shops have signed on so far, or which hotels may be hosting events? There aren't any details on the webpage yet (as far as I can tell. I don't read Spanish well!)
I guess it is still 8 months away, but please keep us filled in when/if you know more. It sounds fun.
